ARoS Art Museum in Denmark has opened The Sound and Video Works of Dodda Maggý, which features nine works by the artist. The exhibition is the ninth in the series of ARoS Focus – New Nordic, focusing on up-and-coming Scandinavian artists.

In connection with the exhibition at ARoS, Dodda Maggý will receive the Young Talent Award, a grant made possible with generous support from the foundation Det Obelske Familiefond. With the Young Talent Award, ARoS and Det Obelske Familiefond want to promote and honour young Scandinavian talents who have not yet had their institutional breakthrough. The grant totalling DKK 100,000 has been awarded on two previous occasions. The grant is not open to applications, but will be awarded to an artist nominated by ARoS.
