Steina & Woody Vasulka Exhibited in Brussels And Ghenta

The exhibition update_7. Mémoires Vives opens on January 12th 2019 in two cities in Belgium, Brussels and Ghent. The exhibition will focus on the connection between the video art of the 1960s and the 1990s and will feature works by prominent video artists such as Nam June Paik, Steina & Woody Vasulka, among them Art of Memory (1987) by Woody and Pyrospheres (2002) by Steina.

“To explore these relationships between two worlds, one analogue and the other digital, the exhibition will present installations, video films, sculptures, photographs, generative works and archival documents. Some of the works presented are considered as milestones of contemporary art. The exhibition will be held at two sites: Zebrastraat in Ghent and BOZAR in Brussels.”
