Gardening of Soul: In Five Chapters, features the work of Finnbogi Pétursson and is led by the Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyne University and House of Arts, Ústi nad Labem, Czech Republic.

The project explores the agency of public artworks that engage in community building and place making and started in 2022. The project is particularly interested in the interactive and artistic processes bringing these artworks to life, which could be seen as forms of gardening – involving care taking, listening, placing, growing, activating, maintaining.

On Wednesday May 31, Finnbogi Pétursson and Andrea Resner will participate in an artist talk in the House of Art Ústí nad Labem at 5 pm.
